The Newburgh City Council discussed at its May 9 work session the addition of new signs for the city courthouse. Renderings show a navy blue sign with the city seal in white and other information written in white and brass color.

City of Newburgh Director of Planning and Development Alexandra Church shared that a city vendor, who is also a resident, would assist with the sign replacement. City Manager Todd Venning stated that this design is consistent with the city’s other branding, such as that seen on the city website.

The current sign on the lawn of the former Broadway School dates back to the time of the building’s renovation into a court house. The words “Future Home Of....” have been covered, while the remainder of the sign remains intact.
