WHEREAS, on the 27th day of September, 2019, pursuant to Section 105 of the Town Law and Section 181 of Town Law, the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Milton Fire District confirmed that the Annual Fire District Budget Hearing will be conducted with reference to the Annual Fire District Budget for the fiscal year 2020 on Tuesday, October 15th, 2019, commencing at 6:00PM at the Milton Fire Districts Headquarters located at the Milton Fire Department, 21 Main Street, Town of Milton, County of Ulster, New York, 12547.

WHEREAS, the Board of Fire Commissioners is required to adopt a proposed budget at least 21 days before October 15, 2019 so that it is available for public inspection prior to the budget hearing.

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Milton Fire District has adopted a proposed Annual Fire District Budget for 2020 as of this date for purposes of discussion and review at the Budget Hearing to be held on October 15, 2019 and a copy of the proposed budget is available at the office of the Town Clerk of the Town of Marlborough and at the office of the Milton Fire District Secretary at 21 Main Street, Milton, New York where it may be inspected by any interested person during office hours. In addition, a copy of the proposed budget is posted on the fire district's website and copies of the proposed budget will be available on the night of said hearing.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Milton Fire District will hold an Annual Fire District Budget Hearing to be conducted with reference to the Annual Fire District for fiscal year 2020 on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 commencing at 6:00 PM at the Milton Fire Districts Headquarters located at the Milton Fire Department, 21 Main Street, Town of Milton, County of Ulster, New York.

NOTICE IS HERBY GIVEN that the aforesaid budget will be presented to the residents and taxpayers of the Milton Fire District and to the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Milton Fire District, for their respective consideration at this public hearing and for the purpose of considering the said budget and hearing all persons interested in the subject concerning same on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 commencing at 6:00PM at the Milton Fire Districts Headquarters located at the Milton Fire Department, 21 Main Street, Town of Milton, County of Ulster, New York.

This notice is being publicized and posted in accordance with the provisions of Public Officers Law and the Town Law of the State of New York by order of the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Milton Fire District.
