NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
PLANNING BOARD OF THE TOWN OF MONTGOMERY
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that pursuant to Article 16 of the Town Law, as amended, and the Zoning Law of the Town of Montgomery, the Planning Board of the Town of Montgomery, New York, will hold a public hearing in the Town Hall, 110 Bracken Road, Second Floor, Montgomery, New York on the 26th day of October, 2020 at 7:30 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard to consider the application of United Natural Foods Inc., 313 Iron Horse Way, Providence, RI 02908, for a Special Use Permit and Site Plan approval for a proposed 165,093 SF warehouse addition to its existing facility with related improvements at 525 Neelytown Road, Town of Montgomery.
The property that is the subject of this hearing consists of one tax parcel and is located on the northwest side of the Neelytown Road (County Highway #99) intersection with Beaver Dam Road. The property is known now or formerly as tax map parcel Section 36, Block 1, Lot 43.2, is located in the ID zoning district and contains approximately 112 acres of land with an existing 496,023 SF warehouse with offices.
The application, plans and supporting materials are on file and available for inspection at the offices of the Town of Montgomery Planning Board.
At this hearing all persons interested will have an opportunity to be heard and any written comments will be received for the record either prior to or at the hearing. Persons may appear in person or by agent. The Planning Board of the Town of Montgomery adopted a SEQRA Findings Statement on July 16, 2013 which analyzed this proposed expansion and concluded that, with the mitigation outlined, the project, including this expansion, will not result in avoidable adverse environmental impacts.
