I am writing this letter to express my support for Anthony LoBiondo as a candidate to continue serving as a of Town of Newburgh Councilman. I am a lifelong resident of the Town of Newburgh, a U.S. Navy veteran, and a retired Town of Newburgh Police Sergeant.

Anthony LoBiondo and I grew up in the same part of the Town of Newburgh. I first became friendly with Anthony when I was a police officer and he was a prosecutor with the Orange County District Attorney’s Office. During that time I recognized that Anthony is very intelligent, possesses a high level of integrity, common sense, and compassion. In my opinion, these attributes are the four corner stones of any public service and Anthony LoBiondo exemplifies each of them.

When Anthony transitioned into private practice, we continued to interact in both a personal and professional capacity. I had the opportunity to experience firsthand how he advocated for people, always pursuing true justice.

Like most people I do not have the time to dig deeply into every issue or circumstance which requires attention from our representatives. I understand how important it is to have the utmost trust in those whom we elect to represent our interests. I am confident that each and every issue or circumstance that requires the attention of Anthony LoBiondo will be approached honestly, intelligently, and in the best interest of the residents of the Town of Newburgh. I am honored to put my name on an endorsement for his candidacy.
