About 1,900 Hofstra University students earned their undergraduate, graduate, or law degrees during commencement ceremonies on May 19-20, 2019 at the David S. Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex.
Local students who graduated include:
Yanisa Anaya of Newburgh who earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Engineering Science.
Doreen Dacilas of Newburgh who earned a Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies.

Charles Broe of New Windsor graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree in Finance from Bryant University, Springfield, RI

Purchase College announced that more than 1,300 students were named to the Dean’s List for the spring semester. They included.
Andrea Cholula, a New Media major from Newburgh.
Michael Donato, a Theatre Design/Technology major from New Windsor.
Jasmine Ferrufino, a Mathematics & Computer Science, Creative Writing major from Newburgh.
Jeremy Kolodziejski, a Cinema Studies major from New Windsor.

Jobrielle Lewis, a Sociology major from Newburgh.
Ashlyn Mcgrath, a History major from New Windsor.

Ahmad Jackson of Newburgh graduated from Nazareth College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Legal Studies during the 92nd Commencement ceremony at the Blue Cross Arena on Sunday, May 12. Jackson was also named to the Dean’s List for the Spring Semester.

SUNY Delhi announces its Dean’s List for the spring 2019 semester, a recognition of academic achievement for students who earn at least a 3.5 grade-point average for the semester. The following local students have been named to the spring 2019 list:
Michelle Agrinsoni of New Windsor, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts Management.

Deirdre D’Alfonso of Newburgh, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
Kiernan Johnson of Newburgh, pursuing an Associate degree in Welding Technology.
