Goldie LeMunyan, of Montgomery, formerly of Newburgh, entered into rest on Monday, February 22, 2021. She was 95.

Daughter of the late Robert and Elizabeth (Purcell) Buchanan, she was born on May 2, 1925 in New Windsor.

Goldie was a sales associate for Israel’s Children’s Clothing and Madamoselle’s, both of Newburgh.

Survivors include a son, William J.  (Janice) LeMunyan, Jr., of Clearwater FL; a brother, Douglas Buchanan, of Auburn, NY; two sisters, Alma Housington of AL and Beverly Hughes of FL; ten grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband William J. LeMunyan in 2000; two daughters, Patricia Elgee in 1974 and Janice Kuftiak in 2016; a brother, Robert Buchanan, Jr., and two sisters, Helen Forrester and Patricia Decker.

Visitation will take place 2 to 4:30 pm on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at White, Venuto and Morrill Funeral and Cremation Services, 188 N. Plank Road, Newburgh.

A Service will follow at 4:30 pm, at the Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Goldie’s name can be made to either the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.com, or the American Heart Association at www.heart.org, or the Down’s Syndrome Society at www.ndss.org.
