Habitat for Humanity of Greater Newburgh will host its annual Walk for Housing on April 28 this year. Registration begins at 12:30 p.m. and the Walk will kick off at 1:30 p.m. It starts and ends at the beautiful Washington’s Headquarters State Historic Site and passes by over 35 Habitat homes in the City of Newburgh. This year’s Walk will commemorate the 20th anniversary of the organization.

Additionally, there will be live music, kids activities, and a gift basket auction of different themed baskets. Music will be provided by DMU Music in Newburgh and kids can enjoy face painting and cornhole, and other games and activities. The gift basket themes will include seasonal, holiday and food-related themes.
Participants in the walk are encouraged to fundraise either as individuals or on a team. Registration is free, but if you raise more than $40, you get a free T-shirt while supplies last. Pre-registering for the event is preferred, although participants are welcome to register in person. Participants can start fundraising now using this link: bit.ly/walk4habitat.
