Town of Newburgh business Heidi’s Runway opened its doors to the cheers of supporters and town officials in attendance on Friday, November 8, 2019. The new consignment boutique offers jewelry, handbags, shoes, and women’s clothing in all sizes up to 2X.

Owner Heidi Schuessler has lived in Orange County for about 15 years and is eager to share her love of fashion with customers.

Schuessler attended the Fashion Institute of Technology and later went into banking with fashion always on her mind. After managing another local consignment store she decided to follow her heart and open her own store in the Town of Newburgh.

“Fashion has always been my thing. I want people to come in and feel comfortable. I love helping people put outfits together and making someone feel good,” Schuessler shared.

After looking for the perfect location for her store, she fell in love with her location on South Plank Road after a sign that made her know the store was the ideal home for her new venture. “I feel like we were meant to be here. It’s the perfect space,” she said of the newly opened store.

On Saturday, November 30, Heidi’s Runway will be hosting a fashion show in conjunction with Small Business Saturday. The fashion show will be held from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. and offers a variety of styles, sizes and options.

“I look forward to opening our doors to the community and inviting shoppers in to come see what Heidi’s Runway has to offer,” said Schuessler.
