The Town of Newburgh American Legion Post 1420 will hold its next monthly meeting on March 18 starting at 7 p.m. at the Legion Hall located at 1420 Union Ave. All members should attend. Potential members and guests of members are also invited to attend.

This week is Town of Newburgh Recreation Center Adult Style. If you didn’t know, the Recreation Department has programs for all ages. NYS Insurance Reduction Program is held monthly on a Sunday from 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m..

Knitting and crocheting club meets weekly on Tuesday evenings 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. Bring needles and yarn, whether beginner, novice or experienced, please come out and join the club.

Total Body Workout – Monday and Thursdays 6:30 – 7:30 PM, class cost $5 and is payable to instructor.

PiYo Live – Wednesday 6 – 7 p.m., class cost $5.00 and is payable to instructor.

Moon Hikes Weather Permitting (no rain dates), Wednesday, March 20, 7 p.m. Ages 8 years old & up. No Dogs. 4 ¼ mile Hike starts at the Large Pavilion. All participants must start as a group. Must Pre-Register Fee: $5 per person.
