Phoenix Theatres Entertainment, LLC, the country’s largest movie theatre management company, has taken over the operations of the former Destinta New Windsor 12 theatre effective immediately.
The building has been temporarily closed, but will re-open to the public on Friday, November 15 featuring the new movies “Ford V. Ferrari” and “Charlie’s Angels”.
The closing was needed for a thorough cleaning of the building, installation of a new ticketing system, concession equipment and other amenities for the building. A deep cleaning of the screens, wall curtains, carpet, seats, tile floors and restrooms is being completed while closed.
An updated ticketing system will allow for advanced ticketing, gift card sales and implementation of the Phoenix Theatres Loyalty Program. All details are available online at PhoenixTheatres.com or at the box office or concession stand.
New concession equipment will be added to allow an expansion of food offerings at the concession stand. Items such as personal sized pizzas, a variety of French Fries, soft pretzels and Sabrette hot dogs will soon be available. Coca-Cola will be the new beverage of choice and many flavors will be available to our customers.
Prices will remain competitive with other area theatres with discounts for college students, military and local fire and police officers. The biggest change will be our “Tuesday Discount Day” with all seats, all shows, all day Tuesday only $5.00 each.
Anyone who has already purchased advance tickets from Destinta for future movies can exchange them at the box office after November 15. Any gift cards that were purchased in the past will be honored with Phoenix, as an exchange for Phoenix Theatres gift cards, valid for tickets or concessions with no expiration. Phoenix will offer their own branded Loyalty Program, but will credit points to anyone who had a previous Destinta Loyalty card. Phoenix customers can earn points with every purchase and be rewarded with free popcorn, soft drinks and movie tickets.
