Newburgh man charged in Chadwick Lake shooting death

The Town of Newburgh Police Department has charged Kaliek Goode-Ford age 30 of Newburgh in connection with a triple homicide that occurred on January 26th at 1751 Route 300.

Goode-Ford is believed to be the lone shooter in the incident that left Jimmy Crisantos age 27, Shatavia Crisantos age 26 and Giovanni Tambino age 9 (son of Shatavia from a previous relationship) deceased. A fourth victim whose name is being withheld (3 years old) is in critical but stable condition with multiple gunshot wounds.

A clear motive for the crime is still under investigation however a relationship between the suspect and victims has been established. Goode-Ford is expected to be arraigned this afternoon on three counts of Murder in the Second Degree, one count of Attempted Murder in the Second Degree and one count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree, as well as additional lesser charges.

"I would like to thank the hard working men and women of the Town of Newburgh Police Department, New York State Police, Orange County District Attorney’s Office and Hudson Valley Safe Streets Task Force for their professionalism, commitment and tireless efforts in bringing justice to these victims," said Town of Newburgh Police Chief Donald Bruce Campbell in a statement released Monday morning.
