Osama “Sam” El Hefny, of the Town of Newburgh, entered into rest on Saturday, June 20, 2020. He was 79.
He was born on November 2, 1940 in Cairo, Egypt.
Sam was a retired mathematics professor for SUNY New Paltz.
He is predeceased by his wife, Ellen (Packall) Hefny in January of 2020.
Private cremation has taken place at Cedar Hill Crematory.
