A different type of summer vacation last week. Spent time in the woods, two days with granddaughters and daughter.

Four days with hubby, reconnecting, enjoying food and the quietness of the woods. Then four days with Mom, taking the time to be together instead of the fastness of daily life.

I am blessed to have all these perfect days. The best way to recharge.

The 2019 Music Series at Chadwick Lake Park Under the Large Pavilion resumes on Tuesday, August 6 – 8 p.m. with the Jungle Love Band. Admission is free.
