Safe Harbors’ Virtual Gala is this week

Greetings from River City.  The hatred and intimidation that is all too present in our country, is deeply disturbing.  Disturbing because it is evidence of a darkness by which humanity is becoming twisted.  Despite rationalizations, something terrible happens when we allow the humanity within to become thwarted by such overshadowing darkness.  It can become a malady from which the innocent self might not survive.
Nothing worthwhile or good results from intimidation and unbridled hatred.  What are those sentiments engendering in our children?  What is being taught?  When they are in charge of our world, will they understand and be capable of equanimity, compassion, mercy, love?
