Senator James Skoufis (D-Hudson Valley) announced that his annual town hall series, Skoufis On Your Street, will take place virtually this year. Since first being elected in 2012, Skoufis has toured the district in a series of meet and greets every year to locally owned small businesses to give residents an opportunity to speak with him in their own neighborhood; this year, in an effort to meet the community in a safe and flexible setting, the town hall will happen via Zoom.

The town hall will take place on Tuesday, August 18 from 5:30 – 7 p.m. Those who would like to participate may RSVP to cfoster@nysenate.gov for the Zoom link.

“Bringing my office to my constituents, in any way I can during these ever-changing times, is part of my continued effort to be as accessible a representative as possible,” said Skoufis. “The most important part of my job continues to be listening to the needs, concerns, and perspectives of the people I represent on the issues that matter most to them, which is why I will always prioritize this aspect of my duty.”
