I woke up this morning to film of Mrs. Biden wrestling with a crazed “dairy protester” who rushed at her husband while he was on stage at an event. In the same melee a female campaign worker wrestled a second ranting protester off the stage.

I was shocked to discover that the Democratic candidates in the primary don’t have Secret Service protection. In an America that is full of horrific violence how can we leave the fate of the nation up to people like Booth, Oswald and Sirhan Sirhan?

If nothing else I hope that Bloomberg money covers the Democratic candidates, with some form of state of the art security protection, so that a candidate or a candidate’s wife isn’t injured by anybody during the campaign.
