Two people were sentenced in Orange County Court on Tuesday to 18 years in prison in connection with the December 12, 2017 forcible rape and sexual assault of a teenage girl in a Newburgh apartment.

Two sentenced in rape case

Two people were sentenced in Orange County Court on Tuesday to 18 years in prison in connection with the December 12, 2017 forcible rape and sexual assault of a teenage girl in a Newburgh apartment.

On January 25, Franeisha Patterson, 25, of Newburgh and Cally Graham, 20, of the Bronx, were convicted of rape and criminal sexual act. Patterson was also convicted of use of a child in a sexual performance.

Patterson was sentenced to 18 years in prison and five years of post-release supervision on each of her convictions for rape and criminal sexual act. She was sentenced to 7 ½ to 15 years for her conviction of use of a child in a sexual performance. The court ordered all of those sentenced to be served concurrently.

Graham was also sentenced to 18 years in prison and five years of post-release supervision for rape and criminal sexual act and one to three years for bail bumping.
