What has the Coronavirus ever done for us?

People across the globe are commenting on, “What the N coronavirus (NCV) has done to us” namely, killing 372,000 plus persons as of 6/10/20 in addition to sending their respective economies down “The River of No Return” sans a paddle.

Perhaps we should be asking, in the spirit of Monty Python’s ‘Life of Brian,’ “What has the NCV ever done for us?”  Let’s give it a try;

1) STDs are down.  Why?  No one dare date.

2) Assaults of all kinds are nose diving.  You can’t get within 6 ft. of someone much less touch them.

3) Gang wars are at a standstill. Why? Groups of any number are verboten (with the exception of Multiple Personality Disorder MPD).

4) School bullying is zero. Why? There’s not a school, yard, or bus to be had.

5) Dog, cock and bullfighting are a fading memory.  Why? Arenas large and small are loudly silent and the sands sparkle white without blood.  Where has all the fighting gone?  Gone with the wind I hope.  Ditto for bare knucklehead fighting.

6) Nitrous dioxide N02 and Carbon Dioxide CO2 emissions are declining steeply. China’s air quality is approaching ‘breathable.’  The smokestacks, they are a sleeping. Shhhh… Don’t awaken them. And, in the canals of Venice, the water is unnaturally clear, one can see ducks and fish swimming therein.  Cormorants are diving for fish.

7) Noise and light pollution are down, Chemtrails are strangely absent.

8) Children and companion animals are being reintroduced to life forms rarely seen up close called ‘parents’ often two at a time.

9) There is a resurgence in the ancient arts of cooking, sewing and fixing broken stuff.

10) To date, over 22 slaughter houses across the U.S.A. and Canada closed after over 5,000 persons tested (+) and over 30 persons died.  NCV has accomplished more than all the human and nonhuman animal rights groups by illuminating the horrific situations in slaughter houses and wet markets across the world.  PETA eat your heart out.

11) Car and wildlife collisions are dropping with far less road corpses under wheel and foot.

12) Wildlife across the planet can be seen walking calmly and unmolested in urban areas to the sweet sounds of silence.
Conclusion:

While the NCV has sent us down the ‘River of No Return’ into an ‘Undiscovered Country,’ when ‘Morning Has Broken’ we will hopefully discover a ‘Brave New World’ with a brighter  ‘Tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow for all this Globe’s players.
