In order to facilitate the removal of snow and ice from roads in the town maintained by the Town of Lloyd, parking of any motor vehicles is prohibited on all town maintained roads from October 15 – April 15 between the hours of 12 midnight to 7 a.m. except in the Hamlet of Highland where it is 3 a.m. to 7 a.m.

Parking by merchants and businesses and the parking of their delivery trucks immediately in front of their places of business for temporary purposes is excepted from the prohibitions contained herein so long as such parking does not interfere with snow removal procedures.

During these difficult and uncertain times, I have been trying to spend the last few weeks on what I like to call “Pops of Positivity”. Since I cannot keep you posted on events that are going on, and many of us have been feeling disconnected without these events I think it important to focus on the good, even more than ever. Each week in my column, I’ve been trying to highlight any story from our wonderful community that highlights little moments, or Pops!, of positivity  when so much negative is surrounding us. If you have a “Pop of Positivity!” you would like to share during quarantine, please email me

at mrskendraelliot@gmail.com or call 845-706-9582.
