On November 7 2019, Carl A. Jones, loving father of three children, passed away peacefully at the age of 68.
Carl was born on April 28 1951 in Poughkeepsie and he graduated from Highland High School. Driving large trucks for Miron, he continued to do so at the stone quarry Trap Rock.
A long time resident of Highland, he created many friendships, where he loved to greet fellow Lloyd patrons over his cup of Joe around town. Carl had a real zeal for tinkering with his truck, which his dog Nahla was co pilot. His real passion was time spent with his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by friends and family.
Carl was preceded by his mother Fern and father John. He is survived by his three children Sheileen Tambascio of Highland; Eric Jones of Staatsburg and Christina Goudreau of Highland. He is also survived by five grandchildren including Khloe who will be forever cherished but never forgotten. His life will continuously be treasured in the lives of his grandchildren Deziray Perry, Tyler Jones, Isac Piedra, Khloe Jones, Aiden Goudreau and Isabelle Jones.
Services were held at the Michael Torsone Memorial Funeral Home, Highland. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
