Xavier Oliver, of Marlboro, graduated from the University of Tampa on Saturday, Dec. 5. Oliver graduated with a Master of Business Administration in Business Administration.

The State University of New York at Potsdam recently named 1,046 students to the President’s List, in recognition of their academic excellence in the Fall 2020 semester. The SUNY Potsdam students were honored for earning top marks by President Kristin G. Esterberg.
The students included:
• Lucas Canino of Highland, whose major is Biology
• Abbigayle Finch of New Paltz, whose major is Criminal Justice Studies

• Hailey Gallinari of Highland, whose major is Music Education
• Timothy Petty of Highland, whose major is Politics

A total of 1,938 SUNY Oneonta students earned Dean’s List honors for the fall 2020 semester. To qualify for the Dean’s List, a student must earn a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher while carrying a course load of 12 hours or more.

Alma College has released the Dean’s List for those students who achieved outstanding academic performance during the 2020 Fall Term. Students, including Alexis John of Highland, NY, who achieve a 3.5 or better grade point average during a term, while carrying a minimum of 13 credits, at least eight of which are evaluative grades, are named to the Dean’s List. Alma College, founded in 1886, is a four-year residential liberal arts college located in the heart of Michigan’s Lower Peninsula.
