The Marlboro Free Library is pleased to announce that it has received a donation of $1,593 from the Anita-Jean Dance Theatre. The Theatre has donated over $52,663 in proceeds to the Marlboro Library, stemming from the Theatre’s dance recitals over the years.

“We are grateful for the generosity of the Anita Jean Dance Theatre,” said Christina Jennerich, Library Director. “The donation will help support our growing schedule of children’s programs at the library.” To recognize the many years of support, a plaque was recently installed in the library’s newly opened reading garden.

Anita-Jean has worked as choreographer for many local theatre groups and has also run recreational dance/gymnastic programs for the Town of Marlboro. The Anita-Jean Dance Theatre is located at 12 Camelot Drive, Marlboro. Classes are available for students aged 2 and up, and include offerings in Tap, Ballet, Mommy and Me, Pre-school Dance, and more. Call 236-3969 for more information.
