Delgado to host Town Hall meeting in Highland

Posted

Representative Antonio Delgado (NY-19) announced his 33rd town hall on Friday, December 13 at Highland Middle School in Highland.

Friday’s town hall is Delgado’s third in Ulster County, following forums in Saugerties and Ellenville, and marks three town halls in each of the eleven counties that make up NY-19. Residents of Ulster and surrounding counties are encouraged to come by the Highland Middle School Cafeteria at 6 p.m. to ask questions and share their priorities with Representative Delgado.

“Holding three town halls in all eleven counties is an important milestone in being accessible, accountable, and transparent to every member of our community. I continue to hold town halls because it matters to me that you feel true representation from your Member of Congress,” Delgado said. “That’s why I will keep coming back as often as I can. Hearing from folks across the district informs my work in Congress to support family farmers, improve rural broadband, keep Congress accountable to the people and not special interests, make college more affordable, lower prescription drug costs, and boost investment in rural communities. I will continue to focus my work in Congress around the issues that impact families across my district, and encourage everyone to come by with questions on Friday.”
