Louis Olsen has just installed a Drive Up window at his Luigi’s Deli & Italian Specialties at 199 Rte. 299 in Highland.

“People call us up and place their order and I tell them 10 or 15 minutes. They then come up and ring the buzzer for their order,” he said. “Everything is available on our menu.”

Olsen said people can place an order at 845-691-6846 from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and on Saturday from 7 a.m. until 3 p.m. They are closed on Sunday. Information is also available on Facebook at Luigi’s Italian Specialties.

Olsen said people are beginning to notice his Drive Up widow.

“We’re using it and people are coming more and more; the momentum is going.” he said. “It’s good for the health crisis for people to get food but when it’s all done it’s not something I’m going to toss aside; it’s there.”
