Frank G. Bowman, Jr., 66, a lifelong resident of Highland, passed away on November 5, 2019 at his home with family and friends by his side.
Mr. Bowman served 16 years in the National Guard. He also served in the Army and Marines prior to the National Guard up until his retirement. Mr. Bowman was honorably discharged.
Frank was born on February 4, 1953 in Poughkeepsie, NY. He was the son of the late Frank G. Bowman, Sr. and the late Grace (DeMichael) Bowman.
Mr. Bowman was a loving and hardworking man. He was a wonderful father and grandfather. He was an awesome brother and friend to many.
Survivors include his daughters; Sheryl Gonzalez (Jose Gonzalez), Michelle Bowman, his son Frank G. Bowman III of Highland, 6 grandchildren; Selena and Emilio Gonzalez, Alexis and Marissa Santos, Justice Corpening and Michael Bowman, his brothers; Anthony Bowman (Jennifer Bowman), Michael Bowman of Trinity, Texas, Robert Bowman (June Bowman) of Wallkill and sister Jeannette Bowman of Saugterties, Aunt Frances and Uncle Jack Neilson of Poughkeepsie, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by his grandmother Jeannette DiMichael and uncle Theodore DiMichael and cousin Lorraine Blauvelt.
