Frank V. Sita

Frank V. Sita, 91, a resident of Marlboro passed away at home on September 16, 2019 with Cora, his wife of 48 years and children by his side.

Born and educated in New York City, Frank proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps during WWII. After marrying he moved to the Hudson Valley where he raised his family and worked in automobile sales/service. He volunteered for a time as an EMT for the Town of Marlboro Volunteer Ambulance Corps.

Subsequent to his retirement, he promptly returned to work as a part-time school bus driver. He loved flying his single engine airplane, deep sea fishing, classical music and cooking. Most of all, he adored his family and was and will continue to be cherished by them.

Frank is survived by his best friend and brother, Ed Sita (Geneva) of Staten Island, his wife, three children; Andrea (Rodney) Garitta, Alec (Maria), Aaron (Amy) and four grandsons; Vincent & Sam Garitta and Ryan & Gavin Sita.
A private celebration of Frank’s life will be held by his family.
