Gardiner Library presents a graphic design workshop

The Gardiner Library will host a four-week Graphic Design Workshop beginning on January 11, 2020 from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. This free workshop is open to the public. Participants will need basic computer skills and should be high school age or above. Pre-registration is requested by stopping by or calling the library at 255-1255, however walk-ins are welcome. Different material will be covered at each session, and participants are encouraged (but not required) to attend all four classes. Those with little experience with graphic design software such as Photoshop or GIMP are especially encouraged to attend the first session. The next sessions will take place on Saturday January 18 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Saturday January 25 from 2 to 3 p.m. and Saturday February 1 from 4 to 5:30 p.m.

Gregory Ortiz has been an avid photographer for 50 years, 15 as a digital photographer. He is an expert level photoshop user, specializing in photo retouching. Gregory was as software design consultant in the Hudson Valley and has extensive experience teaching technology classes on a broad range of topics.

The workshop takes place in the library community room, 133 Farmer’s Turnpike in Gardine.
