Highland competed in the New York state bowling championships Sunday in Syracuse, and the boys’ team was eighth, and the girls’ team was ninth in Division 2.

Brooke Harris had Highland’s best finish for the girls with 31st place, and she rolled a high game of 191. Olivia Casabura was 35th for Highland, and Isabella Gaylor was 37th.

Luke Munson was 35th for the boys as Highland’s top finisher. Munson had a high game of a 178. Chris Wood was 40th for Highland, and Lenny Casabura was 43rd.
