Emily Tarsio broke 180 twice and finished with a 520 series, leading the Marlboro Dukes to a 4-1 win over the FDR Presidents in a league girls’ bowling match on Thursday at Pat Tarsio Lanes in Newburgh.
Tarsio rolled a 180 in her first game and a 182 in her second game. Steviemarie Amato rolled a 179 high game and finished with a 512 series.
Paige Brooks opened with a 181 high game and finished her night with a 170 in her third on her way to a 497 series. Olivia Cherubini rolled a 145 high game and a 409 series.
Jasmin Sanchez led the Presidents with a 169 high game and a 434 series.
Marlboro won the total pin count, 1,938-1,816. The Presidents got their only win in the second game.
The Marlboro boys’ team got their only win in the second game, as they dropped a 4-1 match to the Presidents.
Ike Rothman led the Presidents with a 248 high game and a 722 high series. He also rolled games of 232 and 242. Will Slater rolled high games of 227 and 209 and finished with a 628 series.
Carson Palmer led the Iron Dukes with a 238 high series and a 584 series. Patrick Tarsio was right behind him with a 201 high game and a 567 series. Andrez Smith-Vazquez had a three-game series of 567 and Rya Tarsio finished with a 458.
The Presidents won the pin count, 2,691-2,633.
