Local History Trivia Night
Select Thursdays, September-November, 7 -7:30 p.m.

Local History Trivia night returns this fall by popular demand!  Are you a local history buff or want to learn more about your town? Put your knowledge to the test and join us for our virtual local history trivia night!  Even if you do not know the answers to all the questions, participants are sure to learn something new.  See the marlborolibrary.org calendar to check the event dates and register.

Intro to Family History Journaling
September 17, 7 p.m.
Are you a family history buff- or just getting started with your research and need a way to organize your finds?   Family history journaling might be for you!  Using a bullet journal, virtual attendees can learn how to create a profile page for each ancestor that will help paint a fuller picture of their life- and how to add a few creative touches so it looks fun and interesting!  Use your journal when doing research so all your facts and dates are easy to find and at your fingertips.

Book Club
Wednesday, September 30, 7 -7:30 p.m.
All are welcome to attend our Virtual Book Club! Over Zoom, we will be discussing The Stranger in the Woods: The Extraordinary Story of the Last True Hermit by Michael Finkel. Copies are available for checkout on Hoopla and Overdrive.

Take & Make Craft Kits for Adults
September-November
Looking for a fun craft to do?  The Library will be offering several craft kits this fall, registration required.  Register early, as the number of available kits is limited. Then call 236-7272 to arrange for curbside pick-up of the supplies. After making your craft, participants will have the option to meet via Zoom to share experiences, ask questions and show off their finished product!  Check the marlborolibrary.org calendar for specific dates, kit topics and registration.

Join Liz, certified yoga instructor and owner of Mindful Yoga with Liz, for yoga in the virtual world! We will move our body to explore fun shapes like arm balances and inversions. We will play games, have fun and learn healthy ways to cope with daily stressors. Each class will end with a guided visualization, teaching kids to settle their minds and bodies while increasing imagination!
Register separately for each session you plan to attend. Please be courteous of others and let us know if you will not be attending a session you have registered for. That way, another child from the wait list can attend.
