Marlboro honors top 10 students

Last week the Marlboro School Board and Administration honored their top 10 graduating seniors of the Class of 2023.

Aliva Menser will be attending Clarkson University to study environmental engineering; Celeste Charlemagne will be attending Syracuse University to focus on psychology and sociology; Jack Schlagler will study study Math Education at SUNY New Paltz; Reese Shuta (not pictured) will major in biology and environmental science at SUNY Binghamton; Timothy Liu will be at SUNY Ulster; Gabriella Williams will concentrate on early childhood education at SUNY New Paltz; Caitlin Liu will attend SUNY Ulster in the fall; Juliana Duarte will be heading to Fordham University; Salutatorian Eva Carbone will focus on social science at Mount St. Mary and Valedictorian Noah Gecht will be majoring in business analytics and management at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

High School Principal Ryan Lawler described this group as “exceptional.”

“It takes an incredible amount of hard work from kindergarten through 12th grade for students to earn this honor of being in the Top 10,” he said. “It means you’ve been excellent at every step of the game, it means you’re ready for the next step in life, you are leaders in our school, you are athletes and are in our clubs and activities and bring an incredible vibrancy to our high school. Thank you for everything you’ve done and we are going to miss you.”
