Marlboro Middle School students recognized for admirable traits

Twenty-two students were honored during Marlboro Middle School’s spring S.W.A.T. Breakfast on June 9.

S.W.A.T. recognizes Students With Admirable Traits. The latest honorees were selected by their curriculum-area teachers for exhibiting admirable traits both during and beyond the school day. This is part of the Middle School’s mission to encourage students to exhibit admirable characteristics that will help them develop into successful citizens.

The breakfast was attended by students, parents, teachers, and administrators. Ann Marie Giacoia was the event’s guest speaker. Giacoia, who is retiring after 30 years of teaching in Marlboro, spoke about what an honor it has been to work in the Marlboro Central School District. She also praised the S.W.A.T. recipients before presenting them with their awards.

Marlboro Middle School S.W.A.T. award recipients for June 2022 are: Lucy Casella, Gavin Dabroski, Giuliana DePrato, Hayden DiViesti, Gabriela Fakoury, Leah Gordon, Giovanni Greve, Abigail LaPolla, Royaltii Lennon, Isabella Magyar, Safina Martino, Karolyn Messina, Olivia Morales, Alivia Natale, Gianna Natale, Malcolm Reeves, Gibson Roy, Ella Schmidt, Jaiden Townes, Alexa Trapani, Ava Vicari, and Xhara Wilmot.
