The Marlboro boys’ swimming team won four events in an 86-65 loss to the Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidents on December 19 at Marlboro High School.

Chris Felker won two events, finishing first in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:33.52 and winning the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:16.29.

Josh Johnson won the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 59.67 and was second in the 200-yard individual medley in 2:07.06. Aydyn Sanchez picked up a win in the 100-yard butterfly in 1:20.05.

The Presidents swept all three relay events. Zackary Casto (200-yard freestyle), Troy Speare (200-yard individual medley), Nate Burger (50-yard freestyle) and Joe Andros (100-yard freestyle) picked up one win each for the Presidents.

Diving was not contested.

Marlboro’s Peter LoPresti was second in the 200-yard freestyle with a personal best time of 2:22.45. Caleb Corrado swam a season best in the 50-yard freestyle, with a time of 33.77, for a sixth-place finish.
