Sarah Hull Hallock Free Library wants to remind you to join us at the holiday open house and tree lighting.
There will be crafty activities for youngsters, plenty of delicious refreshments, and a special magic and puppet show by “Mrs. Santa.” It’s all a part of a Main Street celebration in collaboration with the Hamlet of Milton Association. The festivities at the library run from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, December 8.
Mrs. Santa arrives at 3 p.m. to entertain, and the library’s gift basket raffle drawing concludes the party.
Get ready for the Milton Library gift basket raffle! Whether you put your tickets toward one prize or four, you have the opportunity to donate to a good cause and to win valuable items. Take a chance on the “Be Our Guest,” “Child’s Play,” and/or “Game Night” baskets. There’s also a Lottery Ticket Wreath -- a very popular item in past years.
The baskets are brimful with nifty gifts, including highly valuable gift-certificates (like $400 toward Buttermilk Spa and Henry’s Restaurant, for a spa day for two). Purchase your tickets at the Sarah Hull Hallock Free Library and look for the library’s table at Meet Me in Marlborough’s Holiday Extravaganza (on November 23). Raffle tickets sell for $1 each, $5 for six, and $10 for an arm’s length.
The drawing is on December 8, at the Milton Library’s holiday open house, but you need not be present to win. It’s a sure bet for putting the fun into fundraising.

Open Crafters Workshop: the Milton Crafters Coalition hosts an open workshop every Monday evening at the Sarah Hull Hallock Free Library through the end of the year.
