The Sarah Hull Hallock Free Library wishes one and all:  “Have a happy and healthy Thanksgiving.”
The little library on Main Street in Milton is most grateful for the ongoing commitment of its board, staff and patrons.   This Thanksgiving, we give special thanks for all the support that allows us to serve the community in these extraordinary times.

The Marlboro-Milton Lions Club would like to thank all the organizations and volunteers that made the “Thanksgiving for Seniors” event a huge success.
We had 260 meals prepared by local restaurants: Frank’s Village Market and Deli, Kirky’s Deli and the Valley Diner. The Hannaford Supermarket in Highland for donating the turkeys.   Our Lions and their families that assisted with putting meal packs together then helped deliver meals to those not able to pick them up. We thank the First Presbyterian Church of Marlboro for allowing us to use their premises for preparation and a pickup location.  Mrs. Sharon Reynolds, Mrs. Rosemarie Wein, Mrs. Mary Jennison, Mrs. June Jennison, & Mrs. Cindy Jennison for making the delicious pumpkin bars.

We would like to extend our appreciation to the Town of Marlborough, UNICO, The Father Hanley Knights of Columbus, Milton Fire Department, Richard Gerentine, and our Lions Club for the financial support.
A big thank you goes out to the students at the Marlboro School District that took the time to create beautiful Thanksgiving Day cards. Supervisor Al Lanzetta for the COVID Masks and Legislator Tom Corcoran for the hand sanitizer and information about assistance for seniors in Ulster County.
