MHS Drama Club takes center stage with Mean Girls: High School Version

The spotlight is set to shine on the Marlboro High School (MHS) Drama Club as they bring the iconic teen comedy “Mean Girls” to life in their latest production, “Mean Girls: High School Version.” This lively adaptation of Tina Fey’s hit 2004 film promises an evening of laughter, drama, and a nostalgic trip down high school memory lane.

Scheduled for three evening performances on Thursday, March 14; Friday, March 15; and Saturday, March 16 at 7 p.m., with an additional matinee on March 16 at 2 p.m., the MHS auditorium is primed to host a spectacular showcase of talent and entertainment. Audience members are in for a treat as the classic tale of social hierarchy, teenage angst, and the pursuit of popularity unfolds on stage.

The MHS Drama Club’s adaptation introduces the audience to Cady Heron, portrayed by a talented cast led by Emma Bogaczyk as Regina George, Abby Douglass as Gretchen Weiners, and Olivia Ciaccio as Karen Smith. The plot revolves around Cady’s journey from the African savanna to suburban Illinois, where she navigates the tumultuous social landscape of an American high school.

The ensemble cast, featuring Zachary Moran as Kevin G., Noah Ernst as Aaron Samuels, Devin Brooks as Damian Hubbard, and Sophia Dunn as Janis Sarksian, promises to deliver a memorable and entertaining performance.
