Minnie D. Schwartz, 78, a lifelong resident of Highland, passed away on January 16, 2018 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.
Minnie was a member of the 4-H Camp and the Washington Club. She was also an active member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church in New Paltz.
Minnie was born in Kingston, NY on June 5, 1940. On November 21, 1959 in Highland she married Lawrence W. Schwartz Jr. Mr. Schwartz predeceased her on October 10, 1994.
Survivors include her daughter, Kimberly Ostrander of Highland, her sons, Kevin Schwartz of Bangor, PA, Lawrence W. Schwartz III of Highland, five grandchildren, Brian, Amber, Alexander, Noelle, Emma, her great grandson, Jonnathan and several cousins.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Redeemer Lutheran Church Burial was in Highland Cemetery.
