A Highland landmark throws itself a 40th birthday celebration
Sal Timperio celebrated the 40th anniversary of his Highland establishment on Saturday with a party. Friends spilled out onto the street for a group photo, with Sal at the center of it all.
Sal Timperio marked the 40th anniversary of his landmark restaurant/bar, simply called Sal’s Place in Highland. He is flanked by his daughter Alisha Timperio (L) and his niece Natasha Gasparro.

Sal poses with Shirley Pisanni who owned Club 99 for 25 years at the site before he took the building over and christened it in his name.
