Ulster County Clerk Nina Postupack is pleased to announce that on Saturday, August 17, Revolutionary War medical reenactor Don Terpening will return to the Matthewis Persen House Museum located at 74 John Street in uptown Kingston, at the corner of John and Crown Streets. Admission is free and all are welcome.

On Saturday, August 17 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, Professor Emeritus of Biology, Don Terpening will present various medicines, implements, and techniques that were used by physicians during the Revolutionary War, as well as discuss the role that doctors played and their social standing during this period.

“It is a pleasure to have Don Terpening back at the Persen House for the second of his three weekends this season,” said County Clerk Postupack. “His knowledge and demonstrations bring a special experience to our guests, engaging adults and children alike. Visitors always enjoy chatting with Don.”
