The Sarah Hull Hallock Free Library Hosts a Multi-Cultural Performance Mini-Series
In 2020, the Milton Library will host three programs emphasizing cultural and folk traditions in performance. The Mini-Series brings live dance, acrobatics and music to the public, free of charge, with all ages welcome. In an effort to appeal to and accommodate large audiences, the Milton Library has secured the historic Milton Railroad Station as the venue for the performances, and thanks the Town of Marlborough for generously sharing the space.
The three performances are on select Sundays at 2 p.m., with dates to be announced:
• Traditional Chinese Acrobatics with Li Liu
• Flamenco with Rebeca Tomás
• African Drum and Dance Ensemble Sankofa,
This project is made possible with funds from the Decentralization Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew M. Cuomo and the New York State Legislature and administered by Arts Mid-Hudson.
