Milton’s Blossom Street Fair, delayed once by bad weather, went off Sunday without a hitch

Last Sunday the hamlet of Milton held their annual Blossom Street Fair as a way to celebrate a new agricultural season. Main Street was closed to traffic and was filled with a variety of vendors, showcasing their crafts, foods and exhibits along with wineries and breweries selling a variety of refreshments.

The Marlboro High School Jazz Ensemble, under the direction of Andrew Mayce, performed a variety of selections from their repertoire.

The kids got their faces painted, took a hayride and got to see several farm animals up close.

In honor of May being National Foster Care month, the Milton-Marlboro United Methodist Church solicited donations to purchase Duffle Bags for their Foster Care Kids outreach program. The church recognizes that these kids often have to move with little to no notice and are forced to carry everything they own in trash bags. The donations will provide the bags to the kids, who will use them to move with dignity.
