St. Augustine’s “One More Time” Thrift Shop has reopened with winter clothing and fall holiday items!
As always, masks are required and hand sanitizer will be provided upon entry.
Donations are greatly appreciated however they would like to remind the public that they can not take TV’s, furniture, mattress or box springs electronics, computers, car seats, cribs or vacuums.  One More Time Thrift Shop has updated the donation policy. They will no longer use the outside bin for drop offs.
It is now requested that all donations be dropped off during business hours: Tuesday 12 - 3 p.m., Wednesday 4 - 7 p.m., Thursday 12 - 3 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.
In addition, workers are usually on site on Monday and Friday, knock on the pantry door between 11 am - 3 pm. Anything left outside usually gets ruined and most often results in becoming trash which costs the church money.

To honor National Suicide Prevention Month, and one of the most important ways we can keep our kids safe is to let them know that talking about their feelings and asking for help is okay. During these difficult and uncertain times, I have been trying to spend the last few weeks on what I like to call “Pops of Positivity”. Since I cannot keep you posted on events that are going on, and many of us have been feeling disconnected without these events I think it important to focus on the good, even more than ever. Each week in my column, I’ve been trying to highlight any story from our wonderful community that highlights little moments, or Pops!, of positivity  when so much negative is surrounding us. If you have a “Pop of Positivity!” you would like to share during quarantine, please email me at mrskendraelliot@gmail.com or call 845-706-9582.
