Each year The Sarah Hull Hallock Free Library conducts a Holiday Basket Raffle Fundraiser to help support programs at the library. The baskets contain a variety of goodies donated by our local businesses and by our Board of Trustees and this year I am happy to report that we achieved results beyond our expectations based on the generosity of these donors.

On behalf of the Library and the community members who enjoy our services, I want to extend our sincere thanks to the board and to the local businesses who generously donated gift cards and merchandise to the baskets: Buttermilk Falls Inn & Spa, Raccoon Saloon, Valley Diner, Brix Gastropub, Fjord Vineyards, and Hannaford Supermarket. In addition, Fran Biancardi donated 2 of her wonderful paintings for the raffle and the members of the library’s Art Escape group made and donated beautiful hand painted ornaments that were sold throughout the month of December. All monies raised go directly to funding programs for the coming year.
