This has been an interesting year for political happenings. That may be an understatement. Locally, in Ulster County, our County Executive was nominated by our Governor for a commissioner’s position in Albany. He accepted and left for Albany. Our county charter requires a special election be held to fill this vacated position. Our county legislature voted to hold a special election on April 30th, 2019.

All of this happened and is happening very quickly, and many people are not aware of the Special Election. I am the County Executive candidate for the Republican and Conservative parties. I will try over the next four weeks to provide you with information about my experience and beliefs which will assist you in making and informed decision about who you wish to vote for. Regardless of your choice of candidate I urge you to exercise your right to vote.
