I announced my candidacy for Ulster County Legislator in January. Since then, I have been preparing to serve the residents of Marlborough. I have attended the Legislature and associated committee meetings; and met the County Executive, Legislators, and department heads and workers. I am well prepared to represent Marlborough. Moreover, my experience as Town Councilwoman is my roadmap for serving Marlborough citizens.

Marlborough residents’ major issue is taxes. It’s not enough keep them down. How can County taxes be utilized in the most effective and efficient way to provide for your health and safety? How can your tax money be returned to our Town in terms of services? What can I do to make sure you know about services that are already available and deliver those services to you? How can I work with Tourism, Economic Development, and Planning departments to bring more business opportunities to Town? What new programs do you need and want me to fight for in Kingston? I will be advocating for you, but message me on my Facebook page Mici 4 Marlborough and let me know your thoughts.

After a 47 year career as a registered nurse, my time is now available to be your full time representative. I am dedicated to address these questions and answer them with a positive response to voters.

Please vote for me on Nov 5. It is time for Marlborough to get its fair share.
