UlsterCorps to honor volunteers at MLK Day of Celebration of Service

UlsterCorps is sponsoring its 10th Annual MLK Day Celebration of Service, Saturday January 19, 2-5 p.m. at the Rosendale Recreation Center, 1055 NY-32, Rosendale. (Monday January 21 snow date). The event honors volunteers from non-profit service organizations throughout Ulster County for their hard work and dedication.

The day will celebrate the broad circle of kindness and generosity that knits us together as a community and demonstrates the value of the volunteer spirit across all generations. The event is free and features live music by Blind Mice and Women of the World, refreshments from local restaurants, and raffle drawings for the volunteers. Volunteers from all Ulster County non-profits, as well as their families and friends, are welcome to attend. Food and raffle prize contributors include the Alternative Baker, Arconic, Bistro-to-go, Bread Alone, The Colony, Cucina, Deborah & Michael DeWan, Green Cottage, Hash, Main Course, Marysa Sacerdote Jewlery, Shindig, Sunfrost, Cornelia Wathen, Yum Yum Noodles.
