It is time for Trump to resign. We should not be forced to wait for the election to endure him further. With over one hundred and twenty two thousand dead of COVID-19, and counting, he has not expressed the slightest remorse or sympathy for the deaths. He is incapable of empathizing or expressing normal human emotions for this disaster.

Moreover, he is taking steps to destroy The Affordable Care Act (Obama Care) just when it is needed the most. Now not only will more Americans risk death from the virus, they will not be able to afford medical care if they contract it. He insists on setting a terrible example by not wearing a mask, and mocking those who do. He holds gatherings in enclosed arenas where the risk of transmission is greatest. He downplays grim news about spikes in the numbers of victims.

Add to this his near complete lack of understanding of government or ability to govern and you have the calamities we face today. His former aides are nearly unanimous in their opinion that he is unfit for office. Trump should do the right thing and resign before he does further damage to our country.
