The Wallkill Central School District Annual Budget Vote is May 18. Persons interested in running for the Board of Education can pick up a petition, from Kelli Corcoran, District Clerk, at 1500 Route 208, Wallkill.
Petitions are due to the District Clerk no later than April 19, 2021, by 5 p.m.
Candidates must have been a resident within the school district for a period of one year. Each petition must be signed by at least 77 qualified voters of the District, must state the residence of each signer and must state the name and residence of the candidate.
Note: pending legislation may reduce the number of required signatures. Please keep an eye on the District website for any updates.
