William E. Millard, Jr., age 81, of Highland, passed away surrounded by his loved ones, on Sunday, September 29, 2019, at home.
Born September 30, 1937 in Pleasant Valley, New York, he was the son of the late William E. and Vivian (Parks) Millard. William married Georgette Francis McCrory and they spent over 30 years together.
He was an avid fisherman and an expert in fly tying. William taught many people the art. He was also a member of numerous fishing clubs and enjoyed his time spent there and his friendships with other fish and fly tying enthusiasts.
In addition to his wife, Georgette; survivors include his children, William III, Frank, Pamela and Steven; and his stepchildren, Debbie, Donna, and Joseph.
