Join Laura Conner, Environmental Educator, for a five-mile, round trip hike that features a visit to the iconic, 65- foot tall Awosting Falls and a beautiful view of the Rondout Valley from a rocky outcrop. Beginning on the High Peterskill Footpath, you'll walk near a cliff edge, looking down at the Peterskill Falls below. You'll follow this route until you reach Compass Rock which offers excellent views of the Catskill Mountains. After a quick stop at the Peterskill area, you'll conclude by walking the Awosting Falls Carriage Road to the magnificent Awosting Falls. Meet at the Awosting Parking Lot.
